CENTURY WASTE

This project is the result of a random jam 2 years ago. We got the urge to bust out a record together as we were playing at Happy House rehearsal space at 68 Jay Street in DUMBO. This recording was done in a weekend at Mozart Street Studios. We put that limitation on ourselves. Doing a recording project limited to a 72 hour window was a new experience for me. Minimal overdubs. Live tracking, improvisation. 
The plan to self release vinyl fell by the wayside due to lack of funds. My own inertia during this crushing pandemic got me thinking about this and other loose ends that all artists have. Working on art and music during this turmoil is a a much needed way for me and other artists to communicate and stay connected. Consequently I am releasing this digital record on behalf of Century Waste. Thank you, Julie Hair
